Bought another vibe

So i have been going to sno-drift car rally for about 8 years now and have always wanted to enter a car. so after going this year me and a buddy decided we are going to build a car and race it. after looking at a few vibes over the last few weeks i bought a 2003 vibe gt .now begins the process of tearing it apart and adding a roll cage, racing seats, and whatever else it takes to make it rally legal.i will post more pics as the project progessesDoug

does it have the premium sound subwoofer? if it does, i could use the plastic rear hatch cover for it and the subwoofer itself, i want to add premium sound to my vibe, without using the OEM amplifier.providing you dont want to keep it in your vibe.

i plan on selling all pieces i dont need. it has the moon and tunes package, but ne sub woofer in the back right panel. i thing that may have been in the 05 and newer vibes.

update:so for the next couple weeks i will be driving it to work out all the bugs. today i replaced the inner tie rod end, put spark plugs in it, replaced the airfilter, cleaned the maf sensor, and did an alignment.tomorrow i am replacing the thermostat and serpentine belt, i also may have a bad belt tensioner, i hear a rattle on hard accels and when i turn the steering wheel sometimes.i am hoping by the end of the month to get the roll cage installed and racing seats installed.

yeah i just went and looked at a 03 model and it didnt have the subwoofer even though it had the moon and tunes.

That is awesome! I too will be keeping a close eye on this thread, please take lots of pictures Also, your garage has some pretty nice contrast going on with the two vibes there...
