Canadian 2009 price for snow tires

Just purchased 4 new steel rims and 4 Semperit P205/55 R16 snow tires for my 2009 2.4 FWD Vibe that has 17 inch aluminum rims from megawheelz in the west end of Toronto, price including installation, balance, tire tax and sales tax was $740 CDN out the door, he even gave me 20 new wheel nuts ( chrome ones, not the cheapies). Excellent service, manager is Wayne, tel 905-279-9292, hope you do not mind my giving them a plug.

What type of 16 inch rims did you buy? I also have the 2009 Vibe with 17 inch Aluminum rims. I also intend to buy 16 inch steel rims with a higher sidewall tire for the winter months. The Pontiac dealership here in St. John's Newfoundland has offered to take back 4 of my 17 inch aluminum rims and give me 2 16 inch steel rims for free and charge me another 100 dolars and tax for the other two. I wasn't born yesterday and off corse I refused but they will not provide me with the correct size rim.

Wheels are 16 x 6.5 i believe, will check tonight, designed for a Toyota Camry, $48 for the wheels each, brand new 114 mm spacing, hub centric, fit beautiful. You can also purchase from a Toyota dealer but they will be more. Do not give up your 17 inch rims, they are probably 3-400 dollars each to replace, just get a set of steel wheels and snows for the winter. Megawheelz will ship anywhere in Canada, call them or use the website to contact them, ask for Wayne

I know a lot of Canadian members would love to have a "TireRack" they wouldn't have to pay penalties on..
