What kind of sound mods do you have? Sounds very crisp and clear, even recorded! Is that with the Sony stuff you were talking about?

sound mods

Post by mathteacher'04vibe »

Only sound mods are the h/u (Sony CDXGT-500) and rear door speakers (Sony 4-way 6.5's). I think my '04 base has the moon & tunes, so it has the tweeters in the front doors and a 200w amp. As far as I know the front door speakers are stock.Subs will be in the future. The highs are very crisp-especially thanks to the new h/u.

Looking good! You're not really done modding. You think you are, but you're not. There will always be one more thing. Trust me. I thought I was done, but now I'm saving for a supercharger.

DUALS on a vibe

Post by mathteacher'04vibe »

I have recently put on a dual outlet muffler. I will post pics when I get a chance. I had to cut a hole on the right side to accomodate. I went with Magnaflow 4" tips that are dual wall stainless. What a difference in sound! The car is really loud now. The local cops follow me all the time just waiting for me to open her up so I can pay them $220.

Re: (Kevzaz) Wheels

Post by mathteacher'04vibe »

The Wheels are Limited 903's in Gunmetal Gray. I got them and the tires OTD for around $800 at a place in Youngstown, Ohio called B & R Wholesale Tire. "They're known for the money you keep BEEP BEEP!" I am very satisfied with the wheels. The only problem I have had is that the wheels being hub centered require the use of hub spacers--the installers forgot to put them on the first time.
