Not sure if this is a new request or not. I would be surprised if no one has requsted it. MO.com has theirs but, I don't see why we can't have one as well. Or, maybe we do have one and I didn't see it. Anyways, heres mine. Not very impressive, but, was just there to get some time with the tree. My fastes ET just happened to be my worst reaction time. i never got into 3rd so im not sure how the gearing would figure in. This thing pulls pretty hard when its rollin though. I am not sure about that online calculator either but I was thinkin like 15.8 myself. About .2 slower than M/T 1zz with similar mods. We'll see next month.
Hoping to join you here! I posted a 12s 1/8th with an auto base. R/T was over 1s! 1st time racing. Won't have the WI or headers though. Just out of curiosity, do you manual shift when racing or let the auto do it? I'm not sure which is better, but seems the manual shift is faster to me than letting the car shift itself.
Gotta find a place to do this in GA. I know the local Drifting club, but it's kinda hard to do that in a FWD..

drifting with a fwd... pretty much impossible to be competitive with that lol....I'm curious about doing the quarter mile with my car unmoded and then compare to time when modded... but I haven't gotten myself out to the track yet.

Well I won't have slips till next year when I run my car but awsome to see your base (same as mine though mine is a Vibe) is getting in the 16s with a few mods. I'll be putting my CAI, Unichip and cat back exhaust in next year and see what times I get. Reaction time you got isn't to bad... just keep in mind when your staged, watch the lights drop down the christmas tree. Usually there are three yellow down to one green light. When the yellow light before the green lights up, launch. That light is on for a second at most and your get a good reaction time. If the wife allows... I'll see what reaction/track time I can get in her Subaru. She ran it this past summer a few times. 250HP Legacy GT with gutted up pipe... best time was 15:003.

Mavrik, I see your wish list. The Magnaflow cat back is nice. I had the cat-back system. Before Installing the Jp performance exhuast. Know anyone wanting a used Magnaflow midpipe?

That is an impressive time slip, I think that 15' are in your future with some practice.

I told you to be prepared.... for how bad they suck! The first 2 on top were before the S/C, with a full tank of premium gas, fully loaded with sub/amp/capacitor, spare/tray, etc...The second 2 on bottom are with the S/C, about 1/3 tank of premium unleaded, octane booster, no sub/amp/capacitor, and no spare or tray.
Quote, originally posted by BlueCrush »Those would be for 1/8 mile. He wishes they were for 1/4 mile Yeah, no kidding, those times would be awesome for 1/4mi! I was talking to turbo&auto today about auto trans mods. He pointed me in the right direction, but it sure isn't cheap or easy! I would have to disassemble my trans and send them certain parts, wait for them to be modified and get back to me, and then reinstall them.

I was about to say... "WOW 10second 1/4 times holy COW!!!" *watches the wife trade her LGT back in for a Vibe GT* Ah well as I read further down it made more sense lol. You need some 1/4 times.

Look to spend some time getting through the Tech lane though. You have to have the car basically empty with nothing that can fly, be wearing pants, and you have to have a helmet.

remember, you've also got AT and he's in MT. that makes a big difference! how are you launching your car too? are you doing any torque braking to get your boost up a little before you launch? i usually stand on the brake and get on the gas a little til about 2000 rpms just to get the boost up to about 4 psi. you don't stay on the gas, just kinda pump it. don't do this a lot or you could damage your tranny though. i only really do it for launching and usually stay conservative at that. plus, my LGT in sport shift mode will shift exactly at red line. the vibe AT is a dog and you're gonna really be hurt by it's gearing. that's why 5MT is usually always faster.and if you do the math equations for 1/8 to 1/4 mile equivalent. keep in mind it doesn't take in effect the gearing or top end torque or HP. on a 1/8 mile i can be very close to an STI or MT LGT, but it's the top end they kill me!
That is def true, just from when Mrizzle and I took off next to each other, I got ahead by a little, but it was nothing like I thought, mainly b/c he has a MT and I have AT. I HATE the AT! If only I knew how to drive a MT!
