well, at least i have an excuse to get more drunk than i already do!! i am going to a country themed bar tonight called "wild country" its an awesome place, even if you dont like country music. it is an 18 and up place and if they find someone under 21 drinking, they put the spotlight on them and play that song that goes "sha na na na... hey hey hey, goodbye" while they escort them around the dance floor. then, when they get to the door to leave, the dj says "on the count of 3, let me get a big GET THE F**K OUT!!" of course, everyone yells it loud.

ha ha! Happy birthday man. At least you still have the drop in insurance when you turn 25 to look forward to. Once you pass that though, not much to look forward to except senior citizen discounts at a restaurant. I passed the cheap insurance birthday almost 3 years ago, now, uhh...Enjoy it while you can! And just be thankful your birthday doesn't fall two days after xmas like mine, that just sucks. Not a big issue for me anymore though, I don't celebrate my birthday anymore. And yes, just numbers!

Happy Birthday!BTW - Why is everyone referring to 25 as the cheaper auto insurance age? Does that still go on in the rest of the country? That was deemed to be "age discrimination" in California. So the insurance companies now rate people based on driving experience. It drops after something like 7 or 8 years of insured driving experience. I don't know the exact number of years because I've LONG since past it. This is what I see looking back at me when I look at a mirror

I dunno, it worked for me... Turned 25, and a few days later (Jan 4 2003) bought the Vibe. When I went to the insurance agent the following Monday to get it switched over to the Vibe, she came up with like $180/month or something crazy like that... When she factored in my being 25, which slipped her mind during the first quote, it dropped to below a hundred bucks a month, and dropped even further later on in the year.Could be because I was 25, could also be because I had the right amount of experience.. I don't know...
