hood latch support sub assembly

Hello, 2004 Vibe,

I need to replace the vertical bracket that attaches to the hood latch and holds the temp sensor. I found the part for the 2004 Matrix, is it compatible? Or does someone have the correct part number?

I believe the hood latch itself is separate. As for the support assembly that runs up the center front of the car on the radiator support, I have no idea.

You could try a junkyard. Using www.car-part.com is a good resouce to search junkyards near you.

I do not know about if the part is a direct fit but there was a post on this board about the latch and latch cable being a direct fit from a Toyota to the Vibe. The support is most likely the same. If the support is not a direct fit, It is probably close enough that it work with minimal modification. For that price it would be worth a shot if you did not what to go used parts shopping.
