well, a clock running backwards would be right at least twice a day, maybe more depending on clock speed. A clock running forward slowly might only be right every other day, or every other month, depending on how slowly. Assuming non-relativistic movement of the clock to the observer. Still, slow, fast, stopped or backwards clocks are not very useful. Caretaker, on the other hand, is quick to help folks here, so he is a lot more useful than a broken clock
