Hey everyone,
First post here! I have a 2010 2.4L 5-Speed Automatic Pontiac Vibe which I've driven for the last 7 years. It's been one heck of a ride. It is now at 110K, and I'd like to get it to 210K. I still drive it like a speed demon, because with the torque and HP to weight ratio, it's almost hot-hatchish. This beautiful stallion has been driven from Minnesota to California to Minnesota to North Carolina and back to California again, and it's never skipped a beat.
I've been regular with the oil changes at 5k intervals. I've had the transmission fluid replaced at 75k. Filters, all that. But now it's time to reward the car for its service. I'd like to make it close to good as new, and I've got some questions for you guys about that.
I'm looking to invest ~4k back into the car to get it to 210k. Here's what I can think of:
- Serpentine Belt
- All New Struts
- Front Brakes and Rotors (Rear brakes already replaced)
- New tires (and some nice low-cost black rims)
What else should I do? Are my expectations realistic? What do you guys think?
EDIT: Sidenote, if it's important, I drive exclusively in 5-Speed Sports mode.
