Same thing for me!Salsa Guy wrote:And can't post!
Am I the only one with this problem? There appears to be an error with the database.
Has been for a couple months. There's a FB group of the same name, but it isn't as active as other Matrix FB groups.Baltovibe wrote:Appears matrixowners.com is completely gone?
I'm guessing it came down to server costs. Hard to say though for sure.SeattleJeremy wrote:Wow, what happened?
The MO owner doesn't care at all.bigdoug wrote:Hmm, maybe them and this site should have merged. It's easier to run a site with more resources and people behind it. It's the same car just with different exterior (and some interior) differences. Could have had a Matrix and a Vibe section and then a combined section for things that both cars share.
Sadly I've seen several different sites over the years go away without any notification from the admin. I'll never understand why. If you can't or don't want to host a site anymore, offer it up to somebody who might instead of just throwing years of posts down the tubes.Bookworm wrote:Considering I host my own machines, if I'd known, I'd have offered to keep the site up and running, even if only in read-only mode.
A lot of times it's "If I can't make money off of it, nobody will"SlammedNiss wrote:Sadly I've seen several different sites over the years go away without any notification from the admin. a bummer but understandable. Vibes have been out of production for over a dozen years, and each day there are fewer on the road.
GenVibe facebook group is up to 6.4k members...I remember when I joined it about 10 years ago, we were at best, 500-1000. It is a very active group, though many of us die hards are also slowly stepping away.joatmon wrote: ↑Fri Jan 27, 2023 1:51 pma bummer but understandable. I can't see what the activity level is in the private genvibe facebook group, but traffic here dropped noticeably when it was stood up.
I was never very active on MO, the one I miss was matrixvibe.net
