Krylon Fusion for exterior plastic?

Post by cptnsolo77 »

Hey guys I was searching for a new product call "new wipe" Im sure you seen the commercial before LOL. "100 CAR WASHES & IT STILL LOOKS NEW !!!"....anyhow I stumbled onto a F150 forum & these members are using Krylon Fusion paint for their exterior plastic with great results. Take a peek !

I did a search as well on the site & seems like it lasts pretty long without fading or chipping. May a be a better alternative.

I painted my fender flares on my Wrangler with Fusion (Satin Black) as the Jeep flares have a habit of chalking and turning grey.

The paint sticks like rust to iron and has held the color well for years. HIGHLY recommended

Great to hear that that you had great results ! Since this post I have painted the rear wiper arm & the rear roof rack caps. Holding up great so far. The rear wiper looked the worst...now it looks brand new.
