Rear bumper facia protector for 2009 Vibe

Post by gwcowan »

Does anyone have any good recommendations on where to get a rear bumper fascia protector for 2009 vibe for a reasonable price?

It's $60.00 from your local dealer. That is the best deal compared to ones I found on eBay and GM Parts Direct.

I went and checked at my local GM for my '09 Vibe.. and it was $80 or $90.. whereas the '08 fascia protector was only $60 like you say.. brutal.

Hum... it still says it's $60.00 according to GM Accessories Zone. GM Parts Direct has it listed for $43.68, but shipping is $96.67!!! I just don't understand how shipping for the cargo mat is only $12.95 and they will ship it right to your door, but the shipping is so insane for the bumper protector and they won't even ship it to your door and it's tiny and light compared to the cargo mat. Makes no sense.Geez, they're going for $119.00 on eBay. (removed)?!Too bad I tossed my 10% discount card I got from Pontiac a couple weeks ago. I would have ordered it from my dealer and shipped it to you.

Don't forget to shop your Toyota dealer, part prices can vary greatly.

^ Too bad I have contacted that company numerous times with questions regarding it and they have never responded. Because of this I personally would not do business with them. Just my $.02 though.

Makes no sense.I'd recommend a call to GM Parts Direct - there site sometimes pops up with bizarre shipping rates that are not actual. I ended up buying some stuff locally where GM Parts Direct was somewhat cheaper - all because the site had a ridiculous shipping charge. Then another Gen Viber, getting the same thing, found out the site just wasn't accurate.

There are threads on here that reccommend the Bushwacker Matrix bumper protecter. It gives better coverage than the Pontiac version and wraps over the edge of the bumper. That is the way I am thinking about going.Read here;http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=37857and here;http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=35309and here;http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=39761

I have the Ivisi-shield clear bumper protector and it wraps down over the canted part of the bumper. Visually, I like it better than the black rubber type.
