New owner of a Mini Cooper S!!

Post by TRDmatrixXR_AWD »

Sadly, I sold my Matrix to my sister and she is taking it from me in 2 weeks. I'm just finishing up parting out the car. It gonna feel weird driving the car with its got the stock wheels, stock ride height, no window tint...hehe..EDIT: I returned the Audi due to some complications. It was involved in a car accident and it wasn't said in the carfax. So instead I got this car.2003 Mini Cooper S

To bad you are selling the Trix, but at least you are keeping it in the family.

make sure they do a very thorough inspection unless you knew the previous owner! i know a lot of the euro guys here and just like the subie world, when you start throwing mods onto a turbo car.... if it's not done right it will mean more $$$ to fix later down the road, especially an audi! congrats on the new car. welcome to the world of TURBO's

Trix came out in 03 so the earliest model you could have is an 03. You sold an 03 to get an 01 Audi? Not a bad car but be weary of the electrical and mechanical issues they have had. The 1.8T engine is strong but things such as a timing belt instead of a chain, wheel bearings, and electrical issues that plagued VW/Audi back then could be issues down the road. Good luck and I hope it works out for you

Actually, the car is still at the dealership waiting to be inspected and detailed. I already bought the car and it wasn't even on the lot yet, still on truck..hahah...But the car will be in my hands and garage by early next week. Still gotta do papers for it and stuff. I shud've taken more pics but it was freezing and it's ugly right now(winter mode)

Some people would say no to a Mini. But those things handle nicely. And it is nice to only have to get a oil change once a year. There are so many aftermarket parts out there for those things. I would get one just to drive on some back windy roads. Dont like the color too much, never really been a fan of hunter green. But it is your car.
