I saw a gray matrix on Friday. It looked nice, but I agree with Triton the Shadow and Yellow Vibes look better, but the Matrix has the yellow available to the public.
That really is monotone, surprised it doesn't have yellow wheels too. I like the different color accents on the Vibe, but I saw a Frosty monotone vibe today, and noticed that the door handles were white. Is this a 2004 option, or d'ya think he had them painted?

The two-tone door handles are all the same color as the two-tone cladding. Also, now that I see a real pic of the Yellow on the Matrix, I definitely don't like it. I do, however, like the yellow on the Vibe a little better.

I dont like it too much. The only yellows I like on cars, are Ferrari yellows and golden yellows...I don't particularly like the bright, neon, and faded(kinda) yellows -=Paul=-
It doesn't look bad IMO... but just kinda weird overall. The Matrix already has a somewhat odd body shape, that coupled with yellow colour just make things even more odd.BTW, does anyone think thsoe wheels/tires look rather small ?

I don't really like it either. It looks like the million yellow suzuki aerios on the road these days.

not a big fan of the greenish-yellow colors. I like a darker yellow like BMW's Dakar yellow or GM's Champion yellow (like on the Vibe concept). I wanted to get that one, but the dealer told me it wasn't available.
Only a few cars can pull off canary yellow like that, and most of them are muscle cars or $200,000 super cars. It needs to be blended with something, way too bright. I like bright colors, but that would get really annoying to look at every morning.
I've always liked yellow cars and if the Vibe was available in yellow, I would have bought it. However, I do agree, that an all yellow car is a little hard on the eyes. That is why I bought Abyss and am adding yellow accents (badges, pinstripe, etc.).
Not sure if it's the camera or my monitor, but that yellow looks just a little greenish. I like the warmer yellows, more towards the schoolbus-orange end of the spectrum. I probably would have bought such a color (see the Genvibe banner car), but likely would have lived to regret it. In the long run, I really like my Vibe's monotone Lava. Bright, saturated color, but not quite "hey cop, look over here" intense.
