Prices in the city are currently just under $4.00, whereas out here in the suburbs they're a good 25 cents+ cheaper.Thank City and County taxes for THAT. Prices spiked yet again in the last few days, and $3.75 for Regular Unleaded out here in the 'burbs (for reference, I am still in Crook, I mean Cook County, but a mile from the northern Lake County border) is really common. Cheapest gas from two days ago was $3.69 (I topped off a half-full tank after getting a wash, I fully expect prices to go higher).

$3.95, but it was an "I'm-not-driving-in-rush hour traffic with-the-orange-light-with 2-kids-on-board" emergency nowhere near home, so I'm not sure if it's accurate, or a regional thing.
Yikes at some of these prices!I filled up at the local Liberty Station (right before the fuel truck pulled in...yes!) for $3.45 a gallon. Otherwise, everything else I saw was about $3.47.Have any of you seen gas stations start to close? I think one of the local Sunocos did (this guy used to "price gouge" by as much as 20 cents!) - he seemed to drop his prices to the accepted average, but his Sunoco sign is gone.

I don't recall it being this high since summer '08 (correct me if I'm wrong, Ottawans). I cringe everytime a fillup costs more than $50 (I usually fill it up as soon as the lignt comes on). At least my lowest tank mileages are still above 550kms winter/city. They are warning is here in Montreal that the price will hit 1.50$ a liter by summer time

Thankfully it's still $3.55... for now .I thought everyone would get a kick out of this sign from a local BP station here in Sandwich...

The cheapest near me is either the Cumberland Farms or the local HESS at $3.61 (credit or cash). Although I am now seeing it pipe up to $3.69 and on the highway it is $3.90's. This is just for '87.
Here's what I just saw a few hours ago. The Speedway is cash OR charge (nice options ) whereas this "Spirit" generic station is the cash price only. Overall not bad prices considering what you guys are paying throughout the country

Ugh! That's the same price I saw on the way home this evening. Wall street speculation inflation is going to run us all dry soon, never mind Middle East unrest. Drive gently and make those gallons last, folks!

Some places here in town are over $4.00 for premium. JR

I filled up this morning for $3.91/gallon for regular gas. Later this afternoon I drove by the same gas station and it's at $3.97/gallon. I'm sure it's going to be more tomorrow =/

(removed) I spoke too soon A 31 cent jump today Ouch Can you say "bend over and ......" Luckily I filled up early this morning before the gouging took place
Unfortunately waited until I was low - as prices had appeared to be settling slightly. Not today! $.07/L jump again! $1.249/L anywhere in town tonight. To put that into U.S. perspective, with the current exchange rate, that's $4.86/gal for regular!I've got a nasty feeling this isn't going to improve again anytime soon. At least it will help our "fuel efficient" cars maintain their value! $50 already this week doesn't "seem" that efficient - until I talk to my co-worker driving his Avalanche even further than me. He's been crossing the border though - worth it to fill a 126L tank! Saves about $40 per fill right now.Perhaps the Vibe could use a large auxiliary fuel tank...

Perhaps the Vibe could use a large auxiliary fuel tank...Then you'd be dragging around all that excess weight... +/-8lbs (3.629 kg)/US gal and your mileage would suffer. Weight is not only the enemy in racing. It affects economy in any vehicle too. Another 15 gallons/120lbs is like carrying a passenger all the time. That's one reason I almost always wait till I'm running less than 1/8 tank to fill up. More time/miles w/o the weight.

$3.42 here last night. still couldn't fill up the yukon... pump stopped at $75. got 21 gallons in. haven't had to fill up the vibe in awhile as it stays in the driveway.
Yeah, got a text from Meijer this morning saying it would go up and it's $3.59 here too. $1.239/L in Vernon. $1.079 in Red Deer.... Needless to say, filling the tank of the Sierra I'm borrowing for the weekend is expensive... 13.9L/100kms box fully loaded and with the way I drive....
we are at 3.54 a gallon here in michigan in my area anyway. I hear enough blabering and complaining about gas since I WORK at a speedway for four years now. I was there when we were at near 5 bucks a gallon then it went down and people STILL complained its never ending...I just hope none of you are the kind that go in and start moaning and complaining about it to the gas station people like its their fault the gas is so high...cause its not in the least our fault we pay what you pay as well lol.I saw a post with a picture of the gas price in ohio from a speedway and then heard it jumped up 30 cents, yep...I worked the day we got the orders from the company to pump up the price....funnnnn day that was ~_~....its only going to get higher thats for sure. Just remember that all any gas stations do to price changing weather its up or down is not done by the gas station but by the company weather its self owned or a corp. owned one, we bend to the will of what they tell us to put the price at lol. And price gouging is illigal so if he was doing that and you see no sign its likely why, because he got shut down and they put it under a new owner or something. Also to the one who said meijers texted you about the gas going up soon....unless it was a friend who worked there and told you they were going up soon I don't see how you got that text as it is very much so against the law to give out gas prices like that, heck we can't even tell you if you called us over the phone *shrugs*
Down the street at BP it is 3.319. A couple miles away I see 3.599.I think the fact that we have a Walmart Murphy Oil station nearby sometimes helps.

The cost here has been steady now for about a week, $3.36-$3.40/87. We here in oil-Barron land have been lucky compared to many of you, I'm sorry to say. But I'm even sorrier to say that this is far from the end of either....

Gas dropped a couple of cents here too. The average is about $3.53. Fortunately, my errands took me by a station that's usually cheaper than the rest (yet still a Sunoco) and I was able to fill up for $3.45.Wow...never thought I'd actually be HAPPY to see that price...

We sat at 3.49 for a week, now we are at 3.39 while the other station is at 3.59. I actually saw one town where everyone was 3.90something....that was kinda bad, hope thats not an omen.
It just dropped a bit around here today too? My station was @ $3.40 for a week and on the ride home today it was back down to $3.36!! Oh well, 4 cent/ is 4 cents/. I'll take that.
