Just wanted to introduce my self as a new owner of a base 2006 FWD Vibe. I have been reading posts in the forum for some time and decided to register.I will post my tale of woe in dealing with my vehicle alignment and tire wear issues in another post in the appropriate forum section.
Welcome to GenVibe from WV! This is a great site.....good folks with lots of good, helpfull information. Interesting username. Do you have some 455 power in the garage?
Guess I should explain my handle. I'm a long time Pontiac fan. I'll attach a pic of my old Ghetto Glider, a 1960 Catalina 2D sport sedan, 455 V8 and turbo hydro 400. This car was rescued from a salvage yard. This was a very rare optioned 1960 police package car. It had HD brakes, suspension, certified police speedometer and very rare 425A 389 cu. in V8 that unfortunately had a rod thrown throught the block, too bad. I installed the 455 and later model trans. Sold this car a couple of years ago. I owned one very similar to this in high school in 1963. Have owned several GTOs and a couple of 1955 Pontiacs. Fun old cars.
Seeing your photo reminds me of my neighbors' 1960 'burnt orange' Catalina 4dr. They occasionally gave me a ride to school. Don't know what engine it had. I was 8 at the time.
My 2003 Vibe Base Auto 2-tone Salsa "SalsaWagon" was built in May 2002. I acquired it in Feb 2004/Traded it in on a 2016 Honda HR-V in Feb 2018.
Cool old Pontiac - love the rear quarter view on those.Welcome to GenVibe!
