If you guys happen to see a bunch of Scions this weekend... look for a white xB with a big orange Scikotics sticker on the back window, that's me! If I see you guys... I'll be the xB honking at all the Vibes! I'll be rollin' through/into Indy around 6am on Saturday and I'll be there all weekend.I would have been there with you guys if it wasn't for this big event being scheduled on the same day.

Quote, originally posted by ramenboy... »guys, i tried, but this weekend isn't gonna cut it. damn!!!!! this is going to be one helluva meet. take lots of pics! Sorry to hear you can't make it Jerry . Don't worry, we are currently working on the plans for the Chicagoland Vibe Drive In meet in the next few months which I'm sure will be easier for you to make . You know darn well there will be a ton of pictures, videos, stories, etc.!Quote, originally posted by tpollauf »We'll make evening plans early on while at the park where we all will be. In the event of a few who are on a tight budget, don't let that stop you from enjoying a nice dinner and additional conversation. I personally will gladly help out some fellow Vibers with a meal and or drink. As the father of only one son, I could temporarily adopt a few of you young pups for the day (I never got the daughter I always wanted ), and SPOIL you There will be too much to do in little time and I will be enjoying every minute of it! Awww... that's so sweet Tim, but I'll be fine. I just won't really want to spend money on the go karts or anything like that, but that doesn't mean I won't be there as a spectator hanging out . Again, thanks for the offer though. You're too sweet! On a bit of a side note, I am an only child .Quote, originally posted by tpollauf »Nope !!! It's all the 09/10 Vibes that finally have a place in this meet .'09 Vibes FTW! We're going to own this meet ! We are going to get some awesome pictures of all the '09s (I actually don't think they are any '10s coming)!Quote, originally posted by ponta2147 »Ok, we are confirmed for the Castleton Square Buca di Beppo at 8pm, I just have to call back this evening and arrange the menu (I'm doing one of the party package family style menus, it's way easier for large groups, don't worry I'm really good at picking variety for different people's tastes). It's under my name and also under GenVibe (figured that would be easier for people to remember!) and I said it would be about 20 people at dinner (if it looks like it will be more, I'll call them and let them know). The price will be a flat fee that I'll cover on the credit card and then depending on how many people come to dinner, we'll split it evenly! Thanks for doing all this for us Michelle ! You're the best !Quote, originally posted by audiovibe »Man I should have been getting stuff ready yesterday; there just isn't enough time!I agree. I always wait til the last minute to pack everything . You'd think I would have learned by now .The Vibe is clean and about 90% packed. I will pack everything else up tomorrow when I get home from work. Just a reminder for everyone that will be arriving tomorrow, the Chicagoland caravibe should be arriving sometime between 8:00 & 8:30 et so be sure to be keeping an eye out for us to roll in !Aron, Michelle and Tim, I will see you guys tomorrow at 3! Everyone have a safe, fun trip !

Indy Area Road Construction Updates:There is road construction both directions on I-65 between Mile Marker 139 (third Lebanon exit) and 129 (Exit for I-865 east to connect to I-465 North leg to Castleton and I-69. It's 2-lanes each way, and there usually isn't a lot of back-up, but the speed is SLOW 45mph while they're working, and 55 mph when they're not working, instead of 70 mph. And they do enforce it pretty well during busy times. There is also a lot of construction on I-465 north leg between Meridian Street and Allisonville Road. It causes huge rush hour backups, mostly east-bound.

I may arrive between 1 & 2 on Saturday and might stop by the car wash first to see who is there. Otherwise it's straight to the park

I am at work right now but I get off at 1pm. I gotta grab my camera and clothes from home. I will be meeting up with the Chicago Vibe people in YorkVille around 3pm. See you all there! Also I will be bringing the Refinish Restorer for the Vibes with the cladding. If anyone wants to try it out just let me know. I also have a 3rd brake overlay for whoever wants it (first come first served) and I have a set of seat covers (opened but never installed) that I am selling for $40 (bought from someone here for $60). I like them aside from the color. They are a little lighter than my stock interior.Anywho see you all there I am completely pumped for the meet!!!

In re-reading the thread, I noticed someone mentioned that a ladder for photos would be nice. I will bring a 6' aluminum step ladder.I'm also bringing the 'Check-In' binder with 1) windshield data sheets, 2) 'cheat sheets with preregistered screen names and real names, 3) nametags for everyone who 'pre-registered', 4) blank data sheets and blank nametags for 'drive-ups',5) Quickie 'yard signs' for 'GenVibe Lounge & Check-in' 'GenVibe Garage', and 'GenVibe Swap Meet', and 6) some printed copies of my 'what's there to do in Indiana' post. And my laptop and a photo printer/copier.Anything else???

Oh, and I'm not sue if any of you folks ventured into Indianapolis at all?But I cruised thru around 11pm and I'm REALLY glad we chose the park instead of ACTUAL Indy!Nice rides everywhere, but WOW it was packed!!!Stop/Go traffic and roads blocked off, cops everywhere, just mayhem. When they said it was black expo in Indy, it was no joke.Apparently it's a pretty huge event

Great meet guys!!! I got home a lil after 1, Seems my alarm at the Hotel didn't work, Last night about 11:00 the clock said it was P.M. This morning at 8:30 it also said P.M.. I guess that is why the 5:30 A.M. Alarm didn't go off.Traffic wasn't that bad and had no issues on the way home so the spare got to stay in the car.
