genvibe.com decals, where to stick on my Vibe?

Post by jkm311 »

Arriving just in time for the Indy Meet: 2 BRIGHT RED, non-reflective "genvibe.com" decals (the style is our "Vibe" badging font). They are 8" wide, and about 1" tall. Where should they go on my Abyss Vibe? FYI, the white Pontiac badge overlay on the front is now back to the original red. The new decals will be an exact match, according to GrafxWerks. Also, the bug deflector is currently off my Vibe. Please feel free to add your own choices! The back cargo glass is out, as I already have stickers there, and I'm trying to keep that area as clean as possible. My current preference is one to the left of my driver's side fog, laying flat/upwards at you and the other on the small cargo glass, running nearly vertical along the edge where the back passenger door meets the metal. I know you can only vote for one, so pick/add your favorite. I'm trying to space them out as far apart from one another as possible.I thought about one in the engine bay, but I painted all of my covers in bright red paint!

"A" & "E" (what am I, a cable channel?!) are high on my list. And I like the "F" placement, too.

mine looks pretty sick in "A" but it's black/white swirled and my healights are black. So I say try "B" but i would only do one side. Should look pretty ballin. Not sure what I'd do with the other

I prefer "d" and possibly "f". These side locations will be close to the original Vibe badge location and will weather well compared to all the front choices. If you were to get the reflective Silver decals, they look REAL good on our 2009 Vibes back hatch glass as can be seen on J to Envy, Ponta, & mine!

I really like it here, less chance to damage it from cleaning or buffing

Mine are at the bottom of both rear side windows, I like it there, so I chose "E".

Well, it's no surprise I am getting a mix of answers! Another great thing about this site... so many personalities revolving around the same car. I'm liking the insight, and reconsidering putting one of them on the front of the car (road debris). Maybe I'm still good next to the fog, as it will be lying face-up. Hmmm...

Thanks for the votes! Unfortunately, I am still waiting for my stickers. Bummed they didn't make today after the 4th weekend festivities. Will let all of you know what happens, and I'll post pics.

My personal opinion is a genvibe decal at "E" would get you out of pretty much any ticket in Ottawa if I pulled you over

They have arrived! And upon just laying/holding them against certain locations, two things became clear: "A" might be too tight of a fit (I might put one on the same plastic trim, but more towards the center), and "F" looked KILLER. I'm tempted to put them higher up on my Vibe so people will actually see them, but whatever LOOKS nicest might get the win! My thinking is, if I place them in "F," I would have to do so on both sides. Hmmm...I plan on putting them on this weekend... or earlier. The suspense is killing me!

And with not a SINGLE STINKIN' VOTE cast, the winner is... (Clark Griswold drum roll. "Drum roll, please.") "F" on both sides! Love 'em all the way to the back wheel well. And that red on black... [thumb, pointer and middle fingers together on lips]: "Muaah! Perrrrfecto!"
