Watched Gran Torino last night (pirated) and it was awesome! Very well done. The only bad part was the acting from the Korean sister. Terrible lol. Clint Eatwood was so BA though!
Quote, originally posted by audiovibe »Agreed Gran Torino was a great movie, alot different then the trailer portrayed IMOAronDefinitely agree. The trailer made it look like an action movie...but it still was really good! I really liked the ending too
i'm watching Resident Evil:Degeneration right now. pretty cool so far. the stuff hasn't hit the fan yet... oh wait, there it is. smells great. does season 4 of battlestar galatica count as a movie? i love it none the less.

from what i've seen it was ok. i was mostly listening to it because i was working on an autococker. from what i watched the graphics were ok, buildings and environments looked better than closeups of the characters. but that can be said of all GCI movies that try and make it look photo real. one thing that bugs me is the sync'ing of the voice to mouth movements. they could have done much better. the story is the usual Resident Evil. virus, fight, virus, plot twists, action, etc. it is cool seeing clair redfield and leon kennedy working together.a side note, i usually don't like it when they use popular/common voice actors. when i heard steve blum and mimi woods i got distracted and kind of nerded out and yelled "Hey it's Spike!" and "woah! motoco!"over all. i'd say rent it at least. just to bridge the gap from RE4 to 5. i do say this story > the live action RE.
I loved the hospital in Idiocracy! "This probe goes in your ear, this one goes in your mouth, this one in your (removed)...no, wait...THIS one goes in your ear..."

More Sin City strange.. lol.. but made less sense....Midnight Meat Train.... Quote, originally posted by bull77 »anyone seen this yet? I watched it last night and thought it was pretty good The Hurt Locker/i saw that last week and loved it! next movie i'm trying like heck to see is "500 days of summer". but sadly, it's one of those, 'it's a good indie film but instead of giving it a good release to go along with all the hype we are giving it we are just going to advertise it like heck and limit it's release' indie films. The Hurt Locker is an indie film too but it had more theaters showing it. and yes, support the troops, SEE 'The Hurt Locker'!
best theatrical release i've seen this month was Zombieland followed by a friends movie "To Have and Have More"astroboy was a let down. it was ok though.dvds i've gotten recently, transformers 2 and Pan's Labyirnth. Exorcism of Emily Rose was rather bland.wow, i spend way too much on seeing movies.

Transformers 2 just came out on DVD last week, watched it twice so far. So that would be the best. And month ago when it was in theaters and I saw it twice there, it was the best then too.
Quote, originally posted by K-NINE »Sunshine Cleaners.I actually thought that film was kind of a letdown, and I really wanted to like it. Just kind of underdeveloped, I guess. I had trouble sympathizing with the crazy sister. In the end, she just screws up the business and goes riding off into the sunset I like Alan Arkin quite a bit though. He's aces in this:ever seen it?

I agree Avatar 3D was actually getting closer to actual 3D. Forget the red and green lenses; see this movie for this aspect alone. The Road was very close to the book, it was stark, gritty, and brutal. If you read it, see it.Up is a great movie that big kids will also like.
i saw "Up in the Air". i really liked it.I rewatched "Run Fatboy Run" recently. pretty funny. don't watch if you have an issue with Dylan Moran's behind.
finally saw district 9. thought it was really good, but kind of lacked the gritty feel of neil blomkamp's original short 'alive in joburg'still gotta see avatar (ferngully X) and sherlock holmes
