Yeah, the first scrape is always the worst. I scraped up the cargo area hauling a huge speaker cabinet. I subsequently went out and bought some heavy felt material to cover the back for when I haul stuff.

Scraped one of rims too. It`s not a pretty sound. Enjoy your new ride! I am really liking the extra power and handling I have with the 09GT. compared to my 07 1.8 vibe. I lost a couple of miles to the gallon, but for me it was worth it.

The 2009 is much nicer build quality than the 2007. Less road noise inside too!

Yeah, scraped one of my rims too. I have the same car/color that you have-excellent choice. You know, they still make curb feelers. Picture them on a Vibe, LOL. Photoshop curb feelers anyone ?

Hey, I was down at James Rivard today... and I saw this Wave blue Vibe, remembering this post, I think it was yours, it's still looking good.

Well DH, another old first gen goes down the used car drain. Don't scrape your 09 against anything, it looks great without those things, especially in red!

Got over 1000 miles on it now, and this one is a big improvement over the first gen, except for those cupholders! So far i am averaging 29 mpg.
