Moving to Austin, TX

Post by zionzr2 »

Well, its looking official! My wife and I are making a big life change and heading to Austin, TX in August. My wife will be entering Seminary and I will need to find a new line of work that will support us while my wife will be in school. This will be a huge change for the both of us. I'm really excited about the change. It will be quite challenging for the both of us on just about all levels. Please keep us in your prayers that all will fall into place and the transition goes smoothly.

your wife by any chance wouldn't be going to Austin Presbyterian seminary would she? if sooo that's kinda cool cuz that's the same place my dad went to seminary. But... good luck on the whole transition. you should be able to find some good employment in Austin.

This is a Feeler before i create a seperate thread reguarding this issue with more details. My wife and I may be putting her car (2002 Cavalier sedan) up for sale. and thought i might see what others thought my chances are of selling through Genvibe. I'd like to try and get it sold on my own rather than simple selling for far less to a dealer.

WELCOME Back to Texas!!! You will looove ATX (Austin, TX). They'll take good care of ya. The wife and I are both grads of UT (hence the Fusion Orange!). She went to Seminary in Dallas.Make sure ya drink plenty of (cold) water while your unloading the moving van. It'll be hotter-n-blue blazes in Aug!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!We will keep ya'll in our prayers and think about you unloading while we cycle around Wichita Falls during Hotter-n-Hell 100 bike tour.

if you are having any paint issues on your vibe, you should have moved to Austin earlierhttp://www.austindailyherald.c...5.txtQuote »Two neighbors reported their vehicles had been damaged by the July 4th Austin fireworks display. Brian Pirmantgen and Robert Wiebrand, who both live on the 300 block of 11th Avenue Southwest, say that hot cinders and other debris from the show caused pitting on the hoods of their vehicles. Primantgen’s 1998 Dodge Durango and Wiebrand’s semi truck and Pontiac Vibe were reportedly affected. They said they suspected city fireworks had caused the damage because they found charred remains from the fireworks on the street.

it wasnt that bad heat wise yesterday, it was really just the humidity that was the problem, but other than that it was a fine day.
