Lug Nut Size?

Post by NewNeptune »

I'm going to be getting my car back from the dealer, and want to make sure that the lug nuts are torqued correctly. What size are the lug nuts, since I couldn't seem to find the correct size in my toolbox. Thanks!

The size of the nut or the size socket to fit? Its a 21mm socket. That much I know. And the torque I would not recommend more then 90. I use 85 on mine.

Size of the socket. I've got a torque wrench, so I'll either use the 76 (if I can get it set that way) or 80. Thanks again!

Do not go higher than 80 ft-lbs of torque, I have busted three wheel studs on my 03 Vibe GT already. I had to get the New lug nuts from Toyota.
