turbo? or sc? for gt

Post by TGebiV »

So are they going to have a turbo or sc for the gt because it is kind of ****ty that the gt owners are getting hosed If i would have been smart and researched the Vibe a little more I would have seen the high compression ratio in the GT and i would have bought something else to mod but if you have any info i would appreciate it thanks

greetings "So are THEY going to have a turbo or sc for the gt because...."Who is THEY ? If you mean pontiac or toyota, I would guess not. But ... having been looking into fi for our vibes for awhile , Ther are companies that have or are making kits for the 2zz motor (gt motor). Look at the post for alpine engineering, they say that they are makeing a sc kit for the 2zz. Turbo Performance in ca has a turbo kit for toyota celica gt-s that has the 2zz motor in it .XS engineering has a soon to be released 2zz turbo kit (soon they say ) IN which they were testing on a matrix at some point. Blitz has a sc kit for the 2zz motor that they say they are going to release?? I would say this though, with the money you could spend on FI, you could spend on other mods to gain another 20 hp ,which ,could bring you 200 hp! better than a base vibe with an sc! Also, the pontiac SC will fit on the AWD. they wont install it or warrenty it though . If I had the AWD , I would research why it is risky to sc it , then strengthen that if possible, and put on the sc any way . May be a turbo with a little lag would be a little more gentle than a sc, on the AWD Vibe. ??Good vibrations Faultline
