To tip or not to tip, that is the question!

Post by ragingfish »

So, I called this detailing company that comes to your house...I got a team of 3 guys, all really nice, they seem to be doing a good job...Does anyone know if it's customary to tip these guys? I haven't a clue, I've never had this done before...I know if I brought it soemplace I wouldn't tip, but if they come here, whatcha think?

Bro if they do a fantastic job a small tip is nice say 5 or 10 dollars each......I had 2 guys come install my bedroom set (installation was included in the price) and I tipped them 10$ each for a great job and they threw in a few goodies for me as well

Yes, that's what I thought too.Hope also gave me a good analogy -- if you pick up a pizza and bring it home, no tip. If you have it delievered, you tip. Anyway, the guys did an AMAZING job, and it only gost me $185 for a complete detail...inside, outside, wheels and tires, shampooed the interior...only thing I didn't get was engine, I guess they don't do that...I can do that myself I suppose...Will post pics later today...gotta run get my tire mounted on the new wheel...

...but there's the eternally lingering question! Did they get the wax off of the cladding?!?
