Colorado help...

Post by ragingfish »

Hey Coloradans --I'm thinkng about a week's vacation out there in July...looking to rent a car (obviously) from the airport, but need to locate a rental agency that rents to under 25. Can anyone in the Boulder/Denver area provide some insight? Thanks!!!

i don't believe hertz will rent to under 25. when i was looking to purchase my cougar in 00 i ran into that at the counter. they had them for rent and i was going to rent one for a couple days to make sure that's what i wanted. plus, 2 wks ago when i flew to kenai/soldotna on a buz trip, the other salesguy is only 21. we had to find a place that will rent a car to him. try payless car rental. it's a natl co, lower rates and they only charge like $5-10 more/day for under 25. the other co's will only rent to under 25 if the company you work for has a corp agreement.

When I lived in MA, most any place would rent to under 25. I'm hoping a Colorado resident on here may be able to tell me now, since my trip is more or less dependent on it.

Hey Raging... I checked out National's website and they say the age restriction is 21 in most locations, with some places requiring you be 25. Unfortunately it doesn't say which states!
