Quote, originally posted by ArcsVibe »Let me know the cool and fun things to do in Vegas. Almost anything! Just walking down the strip is amazing. I absolutely loved going up to Freemont street at night for the light display. It's an overhead canopy a few blocks long that is amazing.Gotta get up in the Stratosphere. The water fountain display/show at the Bellagio is very nice also. ....it's gonna be hot in June there.http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=4814

if you're there for a whole week, go see the hoover dam. you can get a bus tour out to the dam for about $30 i think we paid, and it includes lunch and a stop at a chocolate factory.you can book it online at http://www.lasvegas.com (tours tab)a grand canyon tour would be even better if you have the time and money. i didnt have the time when i was out there.

You will have lots of fun! I went out there a few years back for a business event and got to stay at the Bellagio since that was where the conference was. It was awesome. Nothing better than experience Vegas going top notch on an expense account. Are you going to be staying on the strip or by downtown? You can walk just about anywhere on the strip and they have loads of shopping (if you like that) as well as cool restaurants and clubs. There are a number of free shows in front of the casinos. The water show at the Bellagio was mentioned and that is great. There is also the Volcano in front of the Mirage and a new show with some Pirate women in front of Treasure Island. It will be very VERY hot in June as was mentioned so bring eyedrops, and it sounds goofy, but moisturizing cream or baby powder. I was there in May and after about 5 minutes outside it felt like everything was drying up since it is such a dry heat. Most of all have fun! Vegas is a great place.

stay away from the white tigers. I hear they're murder!!! Don't forget to go to the Rio every half hour and get some beads thrown to you by the Carnival performers above. Enjoy a walk along the canals inside the Venetian; and if you are a Star Trek fan, don't miss the theme show at the Hilton. It is great. I'll be pounding down some Klingon blood wine out there myself real soon. Kaplah!

I just saw a commercial on TV today for the "Bravo" channel which is supposed to have a "Las Vegas Live" special tomorrow (Sunday, May 16). I don't know if it's an all day deal, or just a show because I didn't see any times on the commercial, just the date.
