hey SoCal people, i'm gonna be moving to vegas in the next couple months, and i was thinkin of havin a bbq or somethin at a park somewhere between LA, SD and me (palm desert/palm springs). does anyone know of a good place or city?? i'm tryna keep the drivin time down to around 1 hr max for anyone, hopefully that way we can get a few more ppl to show. i know there's a younger guy on here that hasn't been able to make it to the last couple meets because they were too far away (or so he says, j/p ). maybe he or people in his situation can come too.i don't have a date set yet, i'm jus tryna see who all would be inerested, and if it would be worth it. it would be near the end of march at the earliest, and probably on a sunday due to my work schedule. so who would be in?? i'm gonna post this on MO and 9thgen too

bump!!!sorry i left yall hangin, but is everybody still interested in doin this?? i had some unexpected stuff come up and i won't be movin as soon as i thought, but it would definitely have to be on a sunday because of my work schedule. we could do it on april 15th, or any sunday after that. in one of damron's threads, i mentioned doin an auto detail meet. how does that sound to everybody?? i was thinkin we could stuff our faces somewhere, then go to a good spot to baby our babies. i was thinkin we could all chip in on washing/detailing stuff. i've got the mr. clean auto dry system that works great, so i could bring that and nuvibe's clay(haha i got it right this time), someone could bring metal polish or things for the interior, etc... so what do yall think?? or

sundays wont really work for me... i work from 3-10saturdays are really my only bet.If i can make it id definately come josh. if not ill be heading to vegas sometime soon, so well meet up there.

Detail meet sounds good (and much needed!) to me, and any weekend day will work for me as long as I know in advance so I don't volunteer to work!

yeah, sounds good to me, if anything needs to be bought, could definitely pitch in.. Also, gonna be working at Pechanga Casino next week, i could scope out that park i mentioned before if everyone is still interesed in it (Ronald Reagan Sports Park).

Um.... not really im on my 90 day crap.if it were a saturday id be all over it... but i cant. i work at 3 on sundays, so it just wouldnt work. i tried too.

Well, the parents have been saying they wanna come out some time this month... but i'll believe it when their butts are here (and i can duck out on them for an afternoon), so sundays are cool for me, If you wanna look into SD, lets do some scouting for a good place to do the detailing. BTW, i have access to 3 high speed buffers if anyone is serious about doing some "paint burning"
