Colorado Road Trip

Post by zionzr2 »

I'll be attending a wedding in Colorado at the end of April, after which my wife and I will likely be heading to Estes Park and the Rocky Mountain Park then over the moutains and down through the Breckenridge area. Get some good sight seeing and hiking in. I'm sure my Vibe will love the Moutain roads.

Estes Park is beautiful. I was there and at Winter Park 10 years ago while on a ski trip. Have a great trip!

Just FYI, you may want to make sure the park is open, I beleve they close parts for the winter, we get a grip of (in fact most of our) snow in March/April.

I've been to CO many times Mainly Co Spgs. and Pueblo. I have family all along the front range.I'll keep an eye on the parks status. I did kinda figure they would be open by end of April begining of May. However, you never know what mother nature might bring.

Estes Park and RMNP both rock! The hotel that inspired Stephen King's the Shining is located there too! The only road I know of that is closed during the winter/spring time is Old Fall rd. But other than that they should all be pretty much GTG. Have fun and enjoy the lack of O2
