The BMW driver, Eric Desire, 37, of San Rafael, was driving eastbound in the westbound lane to turn onto Highway 121 when the accident occurred, Ensley said.Desire suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Sonoma Valley Hospital.Both drivers were wearing seat belts and the air bags in their vehicles deployed, Ensley said. Alcohol is not a suspected factor in the crash.
