Northeast 4WD Compact Car Adventures

Post by blownb310 »

Anyone here like to take thier AWD Vibe "soft roading?" That is mild off roading that a compact AWD car can handle.

We just completed out first event last weekend and had a blast. I'm looking for the select few people who like to take their Vibes on mild off road excursions like this:

If you're from the northeast and you'd like to join us on our next outing let me know. We get together in eastern, NY

HERE's one of my event threads with pics.

Nice roads out west for sure! Doesn't it just make your heart beat a litle faster when you see a freshly plowed snow covered road?

Gotta love it!

Here's what I think of a snow covered road

Mud and snow?

I rarely get out to the trails in summer. Summer rims and tires just don't work with that!

I think I'd really enjoy some soft-roading. Maybe that's why I have a weird infatuation with older Subaru wagons. My Vibe is relegated to the concrete and asphalt, since she's been lowered, but if I had an AWD Vibe I'd for sure look into it.

Snow is fun! We finally got a little snow here, so I"m happy that I got a little snow-bound hoonage last night.

That looks like a lot of fun! Too bad I don't have an AWD and I'm in the Chicagoland area :(.

I would love to get a 2009 or 2010 AWD Vibe and swap all the GT stuff over to it to have an AWD GT :D!

Glad to see the enthusiasm! Hoping to hear from some upstate New Yorkers looking to join in on the fun. You guys know the members here, anyone come to mind?

'Tis the season for Northeast Compact 4WD Car Adventures and thanks to our newest member [and Civic RT4WD owner], it looks like outing #2 will be on Sunday December 30th.

Send me a PM for details if you'd like to join us.
