It's already been hijacked... j/k! I don't see why it would be a problem to say what you are bringing/selling. That would give everyone a heads-up, so they can bring extra $$$ to buy your stuff.

Ok, looks like I am coming for sure. I might be late, I am heading down Saturday morning and its like 4-5 hour drive from what I hear sooooo that'll be fun...I dunno what it's like in Columbus, but I want to stay downtown in a hotel but I want to be sure there is secured parking. i'll call the hotel but is Columbus a pretty safe city with not alot of crime? (removed)...I'm used to Detroit and Mt Clemens so sorry if I offend anyone.

I can't speak for other hotels or the area in general, but the "official" hotel is very nice.

I don't think I'd worry too much about the location if you're staying in the official location... Think urban sprawl, primarily business park type stuff around there... Nothing trashy, just a bunch of office buildings that won't be occupied on the weekend, pretty much nothing around but symbols of corporate america. I can't speak for downtown... I made it through there once late at night with all of my wheels intact, but I don't recall where I was exactly. LOL! But I'd personally feel safer out in the suburbs, but that's just me.

I don't believe it has any bad rap about it from what I know.... two more days...

I've only really stayed in the Ohio State campus area... so I can't say much for downtown. I would suggest you stay in the "official" hotel or near it anyway... that area is much nicer than downtown and that's where most of us will be.

No details on that and I won't know anything unfortunately until I get there. You may want to show up to find out first, and if no food, make a trip around somewhere to grab something.

Well, successfully wrap up the 4th annual Ohio Rally in the books... another great event, great weather, and great people! Overall, about 15 Vibes, a G6, as well as having the Grand Prix owners group from the Dayton area also being hosted by Dan Tobin as well.Dan Tobin had a tent setup again with hotdogs, chips, and cold water being served. The Pontiac Performance trailer was also there featuring the XBOX 360/Torrent. Dan Tobin's staff was once again stellar and very accommodating.Afterwards, we ended up at Ruby Tuesday's, then to Dave & Busters for the evening entertainment.Mike (ragingfish) can be seen in the pics performing modifications on his G6 on site. Nothing less could have been expected. It was once again great to meet all the regulars as well as the new faces... especially those that drove great distances to be there! It appeared everyone had a great time and enjoyed themselves.PICS >> http://gallery.genvibe.com/gallery/06ohio

Nice pics! We had our biggest Vibe turnout today with 5 Vibes at a Corolla/Matrix/Vibe meet here in San Diego! Whoever there that painted/powdercoated their stockers, looks awesome! Of course Satur9 looking sweet as usual! Paul still hasn't gotten rims yet! Nice of Pontiac to show some support up there!

I had a great time. It was worth the trip down. On the way, Chris (Vibe with tinted tails) has a CB Radio and some of hte truck drivers were talkin about us on I75. One of them sarcastically said "HA! I bet those things top out at like 115" and then said something about Chris's roof racks, forgot what though. After Dave and Busters Travis and I were lookin for a coffee house or something and we stumbled into another car meet in a parking lot. There were about 10 cars including a few lightly modded Civics and an IS300. When we drove by they were talkin about my Vibe (not good stuff from what I couold hear over the exhaust). You know how kids are though . So we circled around and stopped by and told them we were from Detroit and were looking for coffee. As soon as we pulled up all of them got really tense and confrontational but after we asked them they calmed down and realized we weren't trying to start anything. One of hte kids complimented the hood and the Vibe then told us where to go and said we could come back and hang out with them if we wanted. When I said we were from Detroit one of the girls laughed and made a thumbs down and said Michigan sucks (removed)...I thought it was kinda funny. Then on a search for a Taco Bell we ended up in downtown Columbus in the middle of all the clubs and bars and found a few nicely done up cars driving through the city.BTW Damron I received the check from the guy that hit me finally so it is only a matter of time my friend before I've got some new shoes

Those tinted taillights looks to be the spray tint! an old tinting trick that never work well on windows but looks to work well on tailights and headlights aswell! nothing to difficult just a sparay can>

His tails look awesome. 100% even and no rough or shiney spots so he did a good job with the spray. He said he was thinkin about a clear of the top but I kinda like hte matte finish.I realized we were by Ohio State later that night in the city (removed)...I'm not into sports besides maybe Lacrosse and Hockey, so I allways forget some people breathe sports and associate everyones home town with someone they hate lol.

Ragingfish & company made hit home in about 8½ hours. No incidents in either direction - no deer, no tickets, and no curbs. Total weekend distance traveled: 1089 miles. The drive was exhausting, but the trip was well worth it. This year's meet felt better than any other I've made it to. Glad the GP guys hung around for a while, and was STOKED to see GM presence (pitiful as it may have been, it was more then anticipated). Thanks to everyone for the sympathy and support regarding the eggs. I head off to the dealer tomorrow to get an estimate for repairs (or, if necessary, a trade in appraisal). The HID's and deer "cannon" work as intended...I didn't get much of a test on the deer alarm though, as most of my trip was highway. Tomorrow night after work will be a true test, as there will likely be lots of deer out.Stay tuned for pictures and stuff...scherry2: I was TOTALLY hoping you'd be there this weekend! I still plan to retrofit an auto-dim/compass/OnStar mirror, and need help "jury rigging" some wiring into the car harness. I know you could have come up with a brilliant plan to help me out there. Hope to catch you at another meet soon...Finally, I thank everyone for still accepting me in the group, even though I ditched the vibe. It felt great to be there and everyone treated me as if I was still one of "them." My love of meets is renewed, so I'm going to see if I can get a mini jersey meeting going for september or october. Stay tuned!
