Date for Columbus? :)

Post by Kari »

Now that the MI meet is going strong in the Aftermath thread...any thoughts for plans on this year's OH rally? I'd like to put in a vote for Aug. 19 as the date. It's a week later than usual I think but after talking to Mike (ragingfish), I think it would be a good choice that way he would be able to come, and CP would be off work too. Any other thoughts? Ideas on stuff we might want to plan pre- or post-meet?

That should be okay for me. August is the one month where I'm not consistently busy. It's also a day trip, which makes things quite a bit easier.

I am ok with either date, if I had to choose a date I would lean more towards Aug.19th. I can make it to either one though.Heading up to Columbus from SW Ohio area... Caravan anyone?I followed Burkeyro up to the MI Meet, that was a good time.

Maybe on this trip we might actually be able to use our Cruise Control and not have to worry about some KIDS trying to make themselves into a Greasy Spot on the HIWAY. ROFLMAO

I missed out on Ohio last year and a couple of people have been nudging me to come this year with my G6. So, if everyone will have me, I'd very much like to be there this year. As of now, anything after July 31st is fair game, as that is my last day at my current job, and no new job is lined up yet. Just pick soon please so we can book hotels!!
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!

Might as well say the 12th since the date that is best for just about everyone is not the 12th.

Go to http://www.biddingfortravel.com to learn how, then to http://www.amazing-bargains.com and link to priceline (that A-B link is how the free biddingfortravel site is funded).

That stinks, I wish you could make it up there! That's ok though, I suppose I can always crash the party with my Hyundai. I was going to ride over with Kari if the meet was going to be a week later... But now that it is when it is, we're going to have to drive separately since I'll have to leave from the hotel Sunday morning, drive 4+ hours, then go to work since I can't take more time off than Saturday. Fun, fun!
