WTB: roof rack end trim left side for 04

Post by jayoldschool »

Heard a thump going through the dryer at the car wash a couple of days ago. Looked around, didn't see anything out of the ordinary. Today, I lost the end trim piece off the roof rack.

Does someone have one they can spare? This looks like crap.

Did you return to the car wash? If it left the car there they may still have it. You could try complaining about the damage to your car. But not sure how much luck you'll have.

Unfortunately, it didn't come off at the wash. It was still there for a couple of days, but I think the clunk was it loosening. I lost it on the drive home yesterday.

I feel your pain! I lost the right front one several months ago and haven't had a chance to locate one at a local yard. I'm planning to use some caulk to help hold the new one in place.

Mr Clutch has offered me a pair (thank you). I only need the left... let's work out splitting them up if it's ok with clutch!
