SouthEast PA meet possibility

Post by cieglo »

On April 10 and 17 there is to be a Cherry Blossom Festival at the Granite Run Mall (Media, PA) from 9am to 1pm. At these festivals there is to be a series of car collections on display (Historical Car Club of PA, DV Jaguar Club, County Corvette Club, Mopar Club). What say y'all in the area meet? Which day? I've got family coming to town the 17th - which works out OK, but the 10th I'm out of town. So the 17th for me. The event has a website: http://www.cbfestival.com. Maybe we could get an official spot...wait, let me check it out...OK, I sent this email to the rotary club running the festival:"Hello. I'm a member of an online group, genvibe.com, and I'm fishing for a little information. Genvibe members are typically "enthusiast" owners of the Pontiac Vibe and/or Toyota Matrix that often have meets and events in other parts of the country. For more info you can refer to the website and online forum at http://www.genvibe.com. If our group wanted to have a meet at the festival, on one of the car show dates, would we have to register as a separate sponsor/participant or how would we go about making our participation official?I'm fishing for responses in our group to see what kind of turnout or attendance we could expect."I'll let you know what I find out.You let me know if you'd be interested in attending.A thought: do a build/customization to somebody's ride at the event...just a thought. (Now I have to go find out if my CAI got shipped yet. Just a coincidence. )

Keep in mind the Western PA meet on April 30th...Sadly, I can't take off two weekends in April to travel...so I can't make it. DARN!
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
