Just got an Injen CAI for my 2004 Base. Hopefully, the CAI will allow my Vibe to at least get out of it's own way now...... Seriously, our Base Vibes are not street scorchers by any stretch. I'd guess 0-60 times run in the 9 - 10+ second range depending on driving techniques. From like 35 to 65 mine feels pretty snappy but a dog off the line (brake torquing helps) and reaching it's top end, around 115, takes a while. The bulk of my driving is in rush hour traffic so racing isn't much of an option. Not that I've been able to "spank" many cars, I have had fun with willing base level Focus, PT Cruiser, Mini, Jetta and Protoge' drivers. I leave the faster cars for our GT/XRS pals! Just my thoughts.
