Pontiac Vibe added to Toyota Lawsuit

Here is the typical result in these class actions - the lawyers get $25 million plus expenses, and the "plaintiffs" get $1.25 each. The defendant issues a press release saying that they did not wrong - just settled the suit to avoid protracted expensive litigation that was a distraction to management..

Oops, that could be construed as a pun. Not intended. But, I always thought the lawyers got a bigger cut of the action, since paperwork is so darned expensive to generate these "paperless" days. Really, $1.25 each is pretty generous by lawyerin' standards!
