From gminside news:*Vibe- Base= $16,990.00AWD= $21,050.00GT= $20,665.00http://www.gminsidenews.com/fo...17969For some reason, it doesn't look like a "price cut" in my opinion. I don't recall what the base was for an 05. Anyone have the base pricing for 03/04/05 to see if there is a trend happening?
I guess this confirms what someone told me at the dealership today. The price for the 2006 models will be the same as what the 2005 employee discount price would be. I was told that the employ discount was being offered to sell as many of the 2005 models as possible before the 2006 models are brought out.
Monotone Neptune, pow pac, 17" stock rims, K&N air filter, bumper guard, custom pedels, brake light cover, billet oil cap
The employee price on the 2005 base Vibe before the $1,000 rebate is $16,137,65, still a bit under the new 2006 msrp of $16,990. However, actual cost of 2006 after dealer discount might be near that $16,137.65. Wonder what GM took out of the 2006 compared to the 2005? I usually trade after 3 years which would be early next year but my 2003 only has about 17,000 miles and I'm hoping the Toyota mechanicals will allow me to keep this one for at least another 3 years. My 2004 T&C sits in the garage. Filled the T&C tank at the end of June, it is still 3/4 full. Even opted to use the Vibe on a recent trip to save gas. It wasn't the $$$ as much as thinking I did not need to be contributing to the shortage that is driving up prices.

If you go to autoweb.com and fill in Pontiac Vibe under research and pricing....it will give you all the pricing for the 2006 Vibe and all the prices for the different options and packages. I t is approx. $700.00 less than the 2005 Vibe (base model). Now the question is....What type of incentives will GM offer after a few months of the 2006' being in the market and will the Conquest incentive still be offered????? It is very difficult to beat the employee pricing plus the $1000.00 rebate and the added $1000.00 Conquest incentive (if eligible)! The only other deal was when they had the "HOT BUTTON" $1000.00 added.. There also seem to be some different package offerings for the 2006..Also availabe at the Autoweb.com site.
