Did Toyota shoot itself in the foot?

I saw my first Toyota iM today! I'm not great with colors but it was the bright Lime color as seen in the TV commercial, I think. I saw it in a parking lot and although I'm not a fan of the styling, I wanted to take a good look at it. BUT I DIDN'T! Glancing back at it, I had a strong visceral negative reaction to seeing it. The thought flashing across my brain: Urkel, Urkel, URKEL!
