2017 Chrysler Pacifica

Chrysler revamps the 2016 Town & Country and renames it the Pacifica. [Dodge Caravan is no more either.]
As you may remember, the former Pacifca, discontinued a few years ago, was more of a station wagon and didn't sell very well.
I know there are not many here into minivans (which this still is) but interesting nevertheless.
Looks expensive.

Yes, it's still a Chrysler. The new 2007 SWB T&C I bought n July 2007 for 33% under MSRP was worth taking the chance.
But IF I were in the market for a new one today I'd have to go with Honda or Toyota.

Eh I'd say it's more of a Fiat than anything.

Looks great! Cutting edge design. I think they will sell a bunch of these! Looks even better than my 2005 Uplander.

Chiadog - I think it depends on the price. This new "Pacifica" with those bells and whistles is probably expensive. When my daughter was looking to replace her 2007 Dodge Caravan the 2015 Dodge Grand Caravans were actually more than a comparable Honda Odyssey. (She had bought her 2007 Caravan at a bargain price like my T&C.) Reliability was the main concern. Then we sold her used 2007 privately for $1,700 more than the $2,500 the Honda dealer was offering in trade. The dealer would have put some spit and polish on that plus new tires and marked it $5,900.

I didn't know companies were still coming out with new vans. I thought they were mostly replaced by medium sized crossovers

It is definitely more Chrysler than Fiat, though the reliability will probably be equivalent; poor. Which sux cuz I've always had a soft spot for both Chrysler and Fiat/Alfa/etc.

According to Consumer Reports Magazine, the Fiat/Chrysler/Dodge/Ram vehicles are at the very bottom of their ratings for quality.

Some used to be pretty good particularly the Ram trucks but I wouldn't touch a new one. It is only a matter of time before they destroy Jeep also.
