Apparently excludes cars not made in America. And - your mileage may differ.

2010 Corolla is #1. Parts is parts as the old Wendy's ad used to say. Since the Vibe is essentially a Corolla Hatchback with mostly Corolla parts that bodes well. Wonder if the Corolla uses the same weak knob radio as the Vibe that seems to be a very common issue? I know the recirc motor mechanism that is prone to gear breakage is the same but that probably doesn't happen early on.

My 2003 Vibe only had two repairs in 6 years, 33,000 miles. The recirc gear issue, and one of the light switches in the rear view mirror would not turn off. I paid about $175 to replace the recirc assembly, but got a new mirror on eBay for a little less than $40 and replaced that myself. The part was $78 plus tax at the dealer. '09 Vibe will soon be 4 years - 20,000 miles. No repairs yet.
