Lawnmowers? Riders? knowledge? expertise?

Post by Sublimewind »

Hi all,I have a question regarding Riding Lawnmowers specifically.. I've got a Ranch King ('97 MTD model 13aq699h206) with a charging problem... I'm getting about 12.2-12.4 at full spin... I know this isn't enough to charge a 12v battery.. but I don't know anything about a mag/coil generator... I've got plenty of electrical experience, mostly 12v, just nothing with a rider... Someone here in the know? (I've actually found some good things on Bob is the Oil Guy.. I am looking)Thank you,Aaron

Try here: http://www.mytractorforum.com/I too have wondered where the charging system is on these things. I have a JD now, but used to have a Husqvarna... before somebody thought they needed it more than I did.
