I am right there with u. But I looked for over a year for a manual and just couldnt find one with what I wanted on it. So yeah its a automatic. But the nice thing about the 2SS is that the automatic comes with the manual mode. Thus it has a 6 speed with paddle shifters on the steering wheel.... so its pretty kewl.. with all the city driving here in vegas.
Thanks for all the great comments.... Ginger is for sure the diva of the garage... she gets her spa days and gets babied like no other... Where the vibe get all the abuse and road time. I still love the Vibe and its my work in progress. But it will never have the raw horsepower that Camaro has.@ Keith, Yep your vibe will still kick... aaaaaanother vibes (removed)... mine for example I am sure... but I am working in beefing it up. LOL
ah, sweet haha. haven't heard of an american car with paddle shifters yet. that's something awesome about GM with the camaro's vs. Ford and the Mustang. Also the austrailian chassis and suspension helpin it fly up and down the Strip lol

It seems that most cars that have even a hint of performance pedigree (American cars included) offer a paddle shift option for their automatics. Manuals are fun, but for most day to day driving, an auto is much easier to deal with. Of course, the younger car modding crowd tends to feel that you don't really care about cars if you don't have three pedals lol. I heard so much crap when I was into the scene back in Michigan. Still wish I had a manual though... Anyway, nice Camaro, I have always loved them.

I love the new retro cars.. all of them to some extent (a friend had a pretty BA PT Cruiser)I would consider some paint on those wheels... Graphite or Black... Possibly body color inner wheel accents.. mmmm.... lower it a little... Star status for sure...

Actually the rims are powdercoated, just a light grey mettallic... and yes either dark gray, or black powercoating is on the future mods list. Along with a million other things that I am sure the wife will come up with. Did I forget to mention that this is my wifes car? As far as the new retro cars being slow. This thing is anything but... its been a while since I have been behind the wheel of a car that will sit you in the seat like this thing will. Although I have been in a subie or 2 that would do it.... I really makes me miss my Skyline days living in japan.

Yeah... when I was stationed in japan, I use to have, a 1990 skyline R32 GTS-T. It was no GTR, But It was still a BA ride. I was pretty kewl being right side drive and all. I wanted to bring it back to the states with me but the import fees to make it street legal were just stupid.
You will find that this is not the type of board that will say (removed) your wife is driving it or a woman in general. We don't care, really. You will find that crap on other boards but not on genvibe.

@ Keith, Glad too see that Genvibe doesn't descriminate when a girl drives a BA car. Everytime the wife goes somewhere in the SS. People are like your husband actually lets you drive his car and odd comments like that. To which she prouldly pops to and says... NO this is mine... HE drives a VIBE... LOL.@ Sublime, It was pretty neat driving the Skyline, But I think I appreciated it more once I got back to the states and the whole fast and furious craze kicked off... thats when I really missed it.
@ Wolfman. Not offended. Ginger is the cars name. But she's more of a bad girl. If you want to take her out on a date... you better bring a S/C or a Twin turbo set up... Cuz one of them is on the upgrade list. LOL
