SHARP !!! This should be at the North American Int'l auto show up @ Cobo this weekend. I'm thinking about going just to get ideas for modding my Vibe and anything else my heart desires Certainly WON'T be buying any new cars for a while. Pleased with our 2009 Vibe GT and 2009 G8 GT. That set us back a few bucks
What's with the V"? With the Fairlane, the Falcon the Fusion, the Focus, the F-150, the F500 etc. I thought Ford would call it a Fertrek

I had missed this. I think it looks great! Pretty cohesive design - seems to borrow some from BMW. I like pretty much everything about it but would miss the boxy Escape. However, the market is just glutted with these little SUVs and I'm sure that it won't offer much better specs than a Vibe or get as good of mpg.

Sweet! the captains chair and passenger looks straight out of star trek the next generation. I hope they keep the futuristic styling in the production model and dont make the interior too boring. If they put ordinary looking seats in it then it wouldn't be as cool. hmmmmmmmm? wait! vertrek, star trek.. I think I've found their inspiration!

Yeah, I also thought they would stick to the letter 'F' for name of their cars. Is it just me that the side view of this SUV looks like a Santa Fe?
