I was on the way home from a nice 60 some mile bike ride along the water and I hear this loud engine coming from behind me. Before I can even look, an F1 car FLIES past me. It was awesome and sounded really good lol. I followed it a little and got a video, I was on my bike like I said so excuse the quality haha.ALso, here are some pics of the bike I took while on the ride. And a couple of Ken's Ferrari F430 he brought over a few days ago BIKE:
Yeah, I was totally surprised (removed)...The Grand Prix was this weekend so I'm assuming that's why it was on the road. Probably just the pit crew screwing around and having some fun lol.I think someone stole my actual camera because I only keep it in my car or by my computer and it's not in either locations I use my phone now because I'm broke lol. All the pics I posted on here were from my phone. It takes great pictures but the video quality is not good at all
The F1 is in Europe now. The next race is in Belgium Sept. 7th. What you may have seen is a CART car, a completely different series and car. Several series call they're races Grand Prix because no one has the rights to the name. There is only one true Grand Prix and the next one is Belgium. Sorry to nit-pick.
Well, what ever the class was, it resembled an F1 car. The only racing I watch is drag, rally, and Sports Car Racing so I have no idea lol. Thanks for correction though.
or it could be one of those street legal kit cars that resemble a F1/cart car...I don't know where I saw it but a few months ago I read about how it's street legal, and super crazy... can't imagine seeing one on the road!
The one you're thinking of the private company....I forget what it's called. I know what you're talking about though. The one I saw was sponsored by Marlboro. They had a trailer at meijers where they switched drivers at one point when I followed it.

(oh to race down streets with one of those!)I'm assuming they took it pretty easy on the street, did they have a car following it for brakes/blinkers? or was it a pretty short distance that they didn't feel they needed to?
I wonder if it was a formula ford, continental, or mazada which are similar to F1 or Indy, but on a smaller and slower scale which also makes it more affordable to an extent.
