Just thought id throw this up for any Turbo Dodge fans out there. Im kind of a collector of sorts when it comes to these cars... First up is my 1988 Dodge Daytona Turbo Z - Intercooled Turbo 2. This car is the twin to the one that i had in highscool.. just less rust. i picked her up for about $900.00 and she ran great when i got her. She was pushing 15psi using a granger valve but the stock turbo had lag like none other... motor mounts were shot and i blew up the radiator the 3rd day i had her. So i yanked the Motor and started to work on the body to clean her up and install some compnents from a Super 60 kit to push her over 300BHP ... she is still in process but i thought id share...
Next up is my 1988 Dodge Daytona Turbo CS. I actually picked this up on a trade for a pos Bronco i had. She is in pretty good condition, pushing 15psi.. i was actually driving her as my commuter till a fuel injector decided to start spraying gas all over the engine... so now she sits waiting for bigger mopar injectrs.. only $200 bucks but Xmas killed my budget.enjoy!
Sweetness!I sold my 89 Daytona ES Turbo this year as it was rusted to hell and then some. Most dependable car I had ever owned and quick to boot.I used to be able to hang with the Mustang 5.0's of the day. I couldn't pass them and they couldn't get away from me :-)You have some nice cars there. I am debating getting one from down south that doesn't have rust for my summer ride.
Sweet! These cars can move for sure. There is still a huge following for them and many, many parts and tuners out there. It is great the Mopar finally is making things for these turbo cars as well. These engines are pretty darn tough! The guy who recommend the chassis dyno I went to has a Turbo Lebaron convertible (daily driver) and a Z car. He just tweaked the Lebaron's turbo boost but really built up the Z car. Good luck with the projects and post back on them!
Quote, originally posted by keithvibe »they need to be dropped about 2"... The ride height is almost as high as your Jeep.Well the first pic is the car with the engine out of it, letting it ride high.
