If you get the matching upper & lower grills the last one might be ok (maybe)...otherwise not. But, it doesn't go very well with the 2-tone and the steel wheels with hubcaps.

My guess is most people would consider a hole in the fender "functional" (as opposed to a trim piece stuck on the outside of a fender) ....with the "function" being venting engine compartment heat. You are correct in saying that it is not needed on the vibe.On one Fender Vent program I worked on. the vent was supposed to be "functional" as the RH side was going to be the engine air intake (CAI). This idea was abandoned before the vehicle launched however, so now the vents are non-functional.
