Nikon D90

Post by AKLGT »

After complaints about my crappy pics from our crappy point and shoots for car photo shoots, I sold the LGT and promptly put an order for the upcoming new Nikon D90 DSLR! This is the first DSLR (in the amateur realm) to include MOVIE MODE!!! Gotta have movie mode!!!!http://www.dpreview.com/news/0...d.aspSo, now I cannot wait to get this camera and get back into photography. However, I now remember why I got out of the hobby once I found out how much freaking money all the lenses and every thing else that goes with it! I picked up a Nikon 70-300mm VR lens and also will be picking up a 10.5 fisheye lens soon to compliment the 18-105mm lens that comes with the kit. Should hopefully have it before the end of next week, so prepare for lots and lots and lots of PICS!!!! oh ya, and anyone familiar with the Nikon D series, please add input because it's been awhile since I've played with SLR's. I'm going to need an immediate crash course!

Got it... on sale at Circuit City for $1134 - minus 8% AAA discount spread out over 24 months at 0%. Ended up being about $45/month.Warning though.... the AAA discount does not technically work. There is fine print that excludes "nikon cameras"... but if you ask nicely, the manager at the store may just give it to you.
