When you think of Modesto, California - what comes to mind? Nuts? Maybe - Modesto is a very large supplier of nuts - The Blue Diamond Almond Factory is there and the local Minor League baseball team is called the Modesto Nuts. What else comes to mind?Maybe George Lucas? Didn't he come from Modesto? His first major movie was filmed there - American Graffiti.What else?How about an oasis of Chinese Delights? Yeah - you read that correctly - way out in Modesto can be found the "famous" Lotus Garden.They are hosting a photo contest. I dunno what the prize is - but I am considering entering one or more of these shots - should I?
