I haven't put my tree up yet, but here are pics from last year. When I was a kid my parents always topped the tree with a starfish. Yes, a starfish. They found it on their honeymoon in PEI, brought it home and spray painted it gold. So for most of my childhood I actually thought this was normal - everone had a starfish on top of their tree. Anyway I HAD to have one too - its my tradition - so my brother and sister in law managed to find one for me, and I, too, spray painted it gold and put it on my tree. The starfish:The tree with starfish on top:

here are my drunkenlights. that bright light in front of the porch on the right is an animated reindeer whose head bobs up and down.sorry for the bad quality, it's from my cell.it's a shame, you can't even see the icycle lights or most of the ones on the poles. not to mention the light up santa, reindeer, snowman, and candy cane in the windows.

Well, here's my pathetic excuse of christmas spirit. This is an excessive amount of Christmas spirit compared to what I've had over the last, oh, decade. I guess I'm slowly getting back into it...Cheap "tree" from Deal$ and a few lights, then my little bobblehead Yorkie ornament. The big dog I found at Kroger the other night and had to get him 'cause he's cute. Pitiful compared to the displays everyone else has! lolMerry Christmas to my Mac mini, you are serving as a basis for the decorations. lol!
