[heavy southern accent] We're gonna hafta learn you something, boy! [/accent]V, I like it. I like the fact that you didn't use the standard genvibe logo, too. Very simple and to the point.
geez... do we have to teach you everything? j/k Read around the 2nd & third page where cole, DM, & I kinda touched on it. We all pretty much use different ways so just play with it & find the one that you think is bestest
Ok, I do know how to change the color, but was just wonder how others were doing it. What I do is use the lasso tool to highlight the objest/car, copy it, put it in a new window with grayscale, play with the levels, and turn back to RGB, and use color balance to get the right color.

I think it was a real low res version from somewhere on the internet. I retraced all the lines from that, and thanks to photoshop, I gave it my own flair, in the form of larger side-skirting and a new front end, and the best shading I could do from chrome wheels. Sorta what I wish I could have for my own vibe! I must admit I had a heck of a time with the headlights, and used them from the original picture. The whole reason for it was I wanted to experiment with "cartoon-style" shading on the computer. I couldn't resisnt "bringing out the front end" though! hehehe. The end result was in the attached file. A few photoshop filters created the wallpapers. The original is still on my computer at work, I can post that on Monday if you likeoriginal - http://www.northmo.com/autovilla/ (scroll halfway down page or so)

I like those wallpapers Mr. Doopey I like what you did with the toon vibe, too. I don't really like how the front sticks out so far, but that's just me. Keep up the good work!

I'm going to try to start little project... I don't know how long it'll take me but I'll post progress pics...kinda along the lines of what savedbyzero did with his hot-rod (it's not gonna be near as good... or complicated tho but I'll try)
Preview #1yeah I know what you're thinking... Mrizzle doesn't need any more publicity, but I just like that pic lolConstructive critisism is very welcomed but this is pretty rough so don't dog it too much... Anyway after I spiffy the line art up a bit next comes the hard part...
Thanks, Cole care to shed some light on your projects? We still don't have Genvibe World 2.0 yet, lol j/kI'm working on the paths for the rims now If I ever meet Mrizzle I'm gonna slap him for getting those stupid rims... Hey Jason could you do me a favor?

Preview #2 This is what happens when I don't have much to do at work...I really like the way this is turning out... all except for that stupid front rim Anyone care to share any tips? The front was done by scaling the path used to make the back which is why it looks flat b/c the wheel is at a slightly different angle (I think). For the plans I have for the wallpaper I think this (front wheel) would work b/c it could be covered up a bit. BTW this color is not final. The spoiler, exhaust and a few other odds & ends still need tending to.
ano that looks cool.its such an honor to have my rims used in your masterpiece!!! I cant wait for a finished product.
