Alaska Permanent Fund!

Post by AKLGT » Thu Sep 23, 2004 11:51 pm

they announced it on monday, but didnt' post it. $919.84 from last year's $1083+. keeps getting smaller, but still that's $900 more i'll have than i did before, simply for just being a resident! and like most, mine is already accounted for.

it's an investment dividend we get for being a resident in AK. from our oil money. it's a nice perk but i doubt if the govt has it's way (state govt) they will take it away so they can spend spend spend!

would be nice if I got something like that every year instead of being taxed out the (removed) as I bend over to squint at my small paycheques.

yes, it would be. lol... but they are really cutting down on who qualifies for them! i lost one (the largest ever too, $1950!) when i was in VA for 183 days and you can only be out of state for 180 days!
